Low Carb French Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice Dimpflmeier Bakery Power Slice Bread
  • 1 Omega-3 Egg
  • 1/8 cup Almond Milk Unsweetened
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Walden Farms 0 Calorie Syrup
  • Cooking Oil Spray

Instructions
 

  • Beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon in shallow dish. Stir in milk.
  • Dip bread in egg mixture, let sit for a few minutes, turn a few times to coat both sides evenly.  (Power Slice bread is very dense, therefore needs to soak much longer than regular bread to absorb egg mixture)
  • Lightly spray nonstick pan with cooking oil.  Heat up to medium.
  • Cook bread slice on medium heat until browned on both sides.  (if there is leftover egg mixture, pour it evenly on top of each side of bread while cooking)
  • Remove from pan, top with syrup and enjoy!
