Elite Hot Egg Salad Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 slices Dimflmeier Bakery Carb Smart Bread
- 2 Whole Eggs
- 2 Egg Whites
- 2 rolls BABYBEL® LIGHT cheese Grated
- 3 tbsp Walden Farms Creamy Dressing French
- 10 slices Pickled Jalapenos Finely Chopped
- 1/8 cup Green Onions Chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil 4 eggs, cool down. Peel eggs, remove and throw away 2 of the egg yolks. (So you're left with 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites)
- Grate the cheese and separate into two portions. (one for each sandwich)
- Meanwhile, mash the eggs and egg whites with a fork until finely chopped.
- Add onions, jalapeños, 2 tbsp of Walden Farms creamy dressing; stir until combined.
- Place toasted bread on prepared baking sheet. Spread remaining Walden Farms dressing on each slice. Top each slice with 1/2 of egg salad mixture.
- Sprinkle each sandwich with cheese. Place in oven and heat until cheese is melted. (approx 5 - 8 min)
- Remove from oven, salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
