Low Carb French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 slice Dimpflmeier Bakery Power Slice Bread
- 1 Omega-3 Egg
- 1/8 cup Almond Milk Unsweetened
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Walden Farms 0 Calorie Syrup
- Cooking Oil Spray
Instructions
- Beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon in shallow dish. Stir in milk.
- Dip bread in egg mixture, let sit for a few minutes, turn a few times to coat both sides evenly. (Power Slice bread is very dense, therefore needs to soak much longer than regular bread to absorb egg mixture)
- Lightly spray nonstick pan with cooking oil. Heat up to medium.
- Cook bread slice on medium heat until browned on both sides. (if there is leftover egg mixture, pour it evenly on top of each side of bread while cooking)
- Remove from pan, top with syrup and enjoy!
